Cat bite?? My cat bit me about 6 hours ago, i was trying to save a baby bird she had caught...i went straight to the doc and he put antiseptic on it..but it hurts still and what i think is the dettol keeps oosing out..will i be ok?..scaried to sleep now!. Ps always remember any animal eating meat CAN carry rabies. So always go to a doctor if bitten.

The ultimate risks of cat bite are Rabies and Tetanus. Both are quite remote because she is your own cat, and she has a strong reason to bite you.
So there is nothing to worry about.
You will be fine. Just keep it clean and covered for about a day then at night remove the bandage to let it air out. Next time use a broom to get the bird.
As long as you saw the doctor, you should be ok, but just keep an eye on it.

And keep your cat inside! Cats are responsible for the decline in bird population!
