unless it%26#039;s bleeding so badly you can%26#039;t get it to stop (and it%26#039;s a large amount) then i wouldn%26#039;t worry about it.you probably had a bug bite or it was a pimple (sometimes all they do is bleed if you pick at them).
wash the area well with warm water and mild soap. once clean, apply some neosporin and cover with a bandaid. change at least twice a day. try to keep it as clean and dry as possible. it should heal up on it%26#039;s own.
watch for signs of infection-if you see any of these then make an appt to see your dr b/c you might need antibiotics. signs are
-increased redness or swelling to area
-the area is more tender, painful,or hot to touch
-it begins to drain liquid (pus) of any kind (especially if green or yellowish-brown in color)
-you begin to run a fever of 100.5 or higher
hope this helps i work in trauma icu

SOUNDS LIKE A SPIDER BITE, GO LET A DOCTOR HAVE A LOOK

Yes- see a doctor! It sounds like it got infected. The doctor can give you medicine for your wound. He may also give you some antibiotics.
Worked in health care for 12 years with people who do not take care of themselves. I am also a pre-med student.

Sometimes this is the normal process for healing small scabs. Sometimes the hole can seem very deep, i remember seeing them all the time when i was a kid and i would pick off my scabs lol... it is kinda weird, but normal. as long as there is no yellow puss, and if it isnt very very red or painful, i wouldnt worry about it. if the muscle area feels sore, it might have been a spider bite. popping spider bites is a BIG no-no. im not sure why, google it? lol

Its nothing. First thing is, don%26#039;t keep playing with it. Just change the bandage daily, with an eye out for progress (if you see a worsening swelling or progressive redness to the surrounding area, then you would be concerned). Second, next time you see your doctor, mention it if you want to and just make sure that your tetanus status is up to date.
And I might add that your grammar and spelling is stellar compared to many who populate these boards.
