Is there a way to prevent a wound from becoming a scar? Also - Why would a wound be cold, when all other skin is warm?

keep a bandage on it that keeps it soft so it will heel right. Most of the time with no scar. Leave it alone

Try this...
Use Vitamin E capsules that you pierce open and apply the liquid inside onto the wound, aloe vera is good also.
About the other question; I would say its due to the absence of capillaries in the flesh that circulate blood caused by the trauma of the injury.
Don%26#039;t pick at the scab. That makes it a scar for sure. You need to put lotion that has vitamin E in it. That helps your skin heal better. I skate.
