1.If the stinger is still visible in the wound, scrape off the stinger using a credit card or the edge of a fingernail or knife blade. Do not squeeze the stinger with your nails or tweezers because that may inject more venom.
2. Wash and dry the area thoroughly.
3. Apply a cold pack. Wrap an ice bag in a cloth and apply to the stung area. This reduces pain and swelling.
3.Apply Calamine lotion or a paste made of baking soda and water.
4. Stay close to a phone for the next 2 hours. Reactions, if any, will take place within the first 2 hours or so. -
If you get to the hospital on time to get anti-histamines yes. You need a doctor right away, because alergic people can die from it.
