What can I do to treat a big bug bite? I recently got this bug bite last night right above my elbow while playing soccer with my friends. It is red, itchy, and is swelled up. It almost looks like I have a second elbow and is warmer then other parts of my body.

I have been putting cool cloths on it for an hour to reduse the itching. Is there anything else I can do to treat this bug bite?

put an ice pack on it for about 20 minutes..remember to wrap ice pack with paper towel first then apply...next buy some cortisone cream and rub in good..keep applying through out the day ...works good for itching and inflammation.

Well, you can use Cortizone 10 to relieve the itching, but there%26#039;s not much you can do to reduce the size of the bite. Only time, I guess. So just put a dab of Cortizone on it every now and then and the bite will be less uncomfortable. You can get it at the drug store. :)
First of all DO NOT SCRATCH IT!!! Trust me I went to my Aunts Lake house last week and come home with a spider bite on the bottom of my foot I scratched it and it is even worse now.

Second, Find (Buy) Some IV rest. It helps. It is a weird pinkish color when you put it on but it helps a LOT
i have the same problem all over my body i think i have bed bugs or something i usaell put them under reallly hot water it takes away the itching and it makes them get smaller and start to fad away.
