Never put hydrogen peroxide or alcohol on an open wound like that. It kills the good tissue along with the bad tissue. You need to wash the wound with water and antibacterial soap and apply a scant amount of neosporin to the wound bed and cover with a dry dressing. Monitor the wound bed for changes in appearance, odor, pain, change in amount and color of drainage and warmth to the area around the wound and swelling around the wound. If any of this appears you need to seek medical attention as soon as possible, NURSE-HAVE SPECIALIZED IN WOUND CARE

If it is infected there would be pain, redness, swelling, and possibly streaking around the cut, in addition to pus drainage, and a bad smell. If you only have this drainage and nothing else its probably not infected. It could just be serosanguinous drainage which is completely normal and part of the healing process, its what happens before a scab forms.

sounds like it got infected. keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, go see a doctor.
