Anybody gone to Accupuncture School? How much is it?
Is it difficult?
What%26#039;s it like?

Oh yes; I went for 6 years (supposed to take 4, but it is more intense than you would think).

Most schools cost over 12,000 per year (x 4years)

It is only difficult because some school administrations are not organized. The class work is hard for some to grasp with Eastern concepts. It can also be difficult when you have a Chinese herb teacher who has a deep accent, and spells the pin yin names of herbs different every time she has a test. I do have a friend who has sat for the national boards 4 times being unable to pass.

I had a lot of fun. It%26#039;s graduate school, so you bond with classmates during the process. There is meditation in the morning, boring lectures, and fun clinic in the evening.

As a side note, I practiced for only four years in a clinic after being licensed; it was just sooo boring being in a medical clinic, and I had no clue that it was going to be my job to listen to people complain 8 hours a day. School was much more fun than the real thing. The money was good, but even %26amp;100 bucks an hour is not worth being unhappy.
