2mg Ativan? Are 2mg Ativan pills available in the US? I take 2 1mg pills twice a day, and I think it would be cheaper to just get 2mg pills, but my dr. won%26#039;t write the rx? Why? Is it not available here?

OBVIOUSLY....I DO have a severe anxiety disorder (Panic Disorder w/ agoraphobia)! DUH! That%26#039;s why I take the medication. Please, I don%26#039;t need anyone telling me I need rehab. I am monitored closely by a team of professionals who have my best interest in mind.

Ativan does come in 2mg strengths. If you are concerned about cost, you should look into lorazepam. This is the generic to Ativan. Now generic does not mean it is less quality. Ativan is the brand name, and after five years their patient on the medication is up and other companys can produce it under the name Lorazepam.

That is a lot of Ativan...can you stay awake at all?
WHY!! because it is ADDICTIVE!! It is a highly addictive and dangerous medication only given to those with severe anxiety disorders.
2mg of ativan is a lot! your doctor doesn%26#039;t want to write it b/c he is smart and he likes his medical license and wants to keep it.

Do you take it at different times? Like morn 1mg and evening 1 mg? That is why so it keeps working. I have 0.5 and I notice a huge difference, I too have anxiety and panic attacks. How do you function? Remember? and stuff? I also take the generic. It is a powerful little pill. Plus i only take it need be. For example: my daughter had severe colic for 9 months, and my parents divorce. Be careful and maybe ask for a nerve pill, and this as a back up it worked for me. And know i only use it when i have too. Good luck
