  • Tea tree is anti-infectious, anti-viral, anti-septic, bactericidal and fungicidal. It%26#039;s anti-inflammatory, an expectorant, and helps stimulate the immune system.

Topically it can be used for oily skin, acne, spots, athletes foot, blisters, boils, bruises, burns, sunburns, cold sores, dandruff, as a deodorant, insect bites, warts, insecticide for fleas and lice, mouth ulcers, psoriasis, and it helps clean cuts and encourages scar tissue. Pretty much anything going wrong with skin can be helped with tea tree.

Inhaled, it prevents colds and flu and can help treat them if they start. It also helps with asthma, catarrh, coughs, bronchitis, sinusitis, or pretty much any other throat, lung or sinus infections.

Diluted in water then gargled, it helps gingivitis, bad breath, sore throats, and tonsillitis.

Basically, when you think infection (whether is bacterial, fungal, microbial or viral), think of tea tree helping to stop it. My notes over the years. 20% 1 Vote
  • Most zits are a trapped staph infection that has invaded through a hair follicle or the macrophages have cornered it from some other entry route, bad foods we eat, pollution we breathe. Tea tree oil is the life%26#039;s blood of the plant and it includes the plant%26#039;s immune system. Coriander seed oil works better for zits; myrrh does zits of the scalp best. These are called essential oils and were used back in the days of the bible.

Almost all medicines are plant based. When the plant sits there in the garden, or out in the wild, under attack from all sorts of fungi and insects it develops an immunity to help protect itself. Try to eat the outer layers of food raw, try to use seasonings, and seeds as much as possible. Nature tries to protect the seeds as the last resort for life. The tomato’s skin and orange’s white pulp are where their highest immunity system are after the seeds. Raw gives you the most protection. Look how long broccoli can hang on, but after you boil it in some water the water will grow mold in a day, coffee too. Organic foods produce their immunity stronger because they cannot depend on pesticides to help them. It is not necessarily the dissipated pesticides we are trying to avoid. It is the plant’s developed immunity we need. Imagine what a root type of produce goes through to fight off all the attack in the soil. Don’t peel the carrot, don’t peel the potato, turnip, parsnip.

There are many essential oils and your medicine cabinet should have a few on hand for this or that. It doesn’t take much, get the tiny bottles of several kinds and try it on insect bites, scrapes, small cuts. Check with your doctor if in doubt about any unusual reaction or discontinue using it. Probably the strongest is oregano oil. It can take a layer of skin off with it, but there are times when this exfoliate property is what is best. Be very careful around the eyes or tender areas except with the milder ones, like coriander and still not in the eyes or in the nose, let us say. These are tools. Some of these can be taken internally, but now we are getting into more study and you should continue your research before going any farther than external use of a drop or so here and there. 20% 1 Vote
