You%26#039;ll find the herbs at:

And the nutrients at:
http://www.NutrientReference.com
%26quot;Each of these sites allows you to explore natural medicines that are known to be helpful for various diseases and health conditions. You%26#039;ll learn, for example, that green tea helps prevent breast cancer, or that Vitamin D is important for reversing osteoporosis. Over a hundred health conditions are covered in detail, plus hundreds more entries on individual foods, herbs and nutrients.
%26quot;Currently, the research presented on these sites is based on 14 books and natural medicine encyclopedias. We%26#039;re working on expanding that to 25 books to cover even more diseases and natural medicines, so be sure to check back from time to time and watch our online reference sites grow! In particular, we%26#039;ll be expanding the herbal site to include rainforest herbs, Chinese medicine herbs and more Western herbs as well.%26quot;
Two other sites are also useful:
http://www.mercola.com
A 3x/week newsletter of health-related articles. Interactive site with a lively forum. Very commercial but lots of valuable info.
http://www.hawkeshealth.net/
A newer site, also interactive. Here you will get breaking news sooner than anywhere. You, too, can post articles as well as comment. Nothing to sell, no politics.
All these sites are anti-prescriptions, anti-vaccines, pro sound nutrition and natural health. All have search features. 13% 1 Vote
The first website is loaded with fun info, games, and you can sign up for their emailings. They have herbal kits you can buy and LOTS of good info
The second one is natural news. Things going on in the natural world and that effect Natural medicine.
Last one is my favorite! When I was starting out with natural medicine I bought the wall charts they sell and put them up in my kitchen. I reference them all the time and so do my guests. I%26#039;ve had people with pen and paper writing down what the poster has on it. GREAT information for you especially if you are looking for a easy guide.
Books:
Herbal Remedies for Dummies by Christopher Hobbs (GREAT FOR BEGINNERS!!!)
Earl Mindell%26#039;s New Herb Bible by Earl Mindell
Plus seeing a naturopath or herbalist is a good idea too. They can focus on your direct issues and help you come up with good things to take.
Natural food stores usually have people educated to help you with certain concerns too.
