How many for hyrdrocodine? how many hours does hydrocodine stay in your system? This is my first time taking it for shoulder pain...Just wanted to know I took it about 730pm and is now 1000pm

about 4 to 6 hours. Stagger the hydrocodone with Tylenol or Motrin at 2 to 3 hour intervals ie Hydrocodone at 6 then at 8 or 9 take Motrin, then Hydrocodone again at 10 or 12. This will help to control break through pain and will lessen the need for more frequent use of the narcotic. Hope your shoulder feels better soon. 67% 2 Votes
