  • Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a chemical compound . It has a distinctive property of penetrating the skin very readily, allowing the handler to taste it. Its taste has been described as oyster- or garlic-like.

Dimethyl sulfoxide is a by-product of wood pulping. A supplier of DMSO is the Gaylord Chemical Corporation in the USA.

Use of DMSO in medicine dates from around 1963, when a University of Oregon Medical School team, headed by Stanley Jacob, discovered it could penetrate the skin and other membranes without damaging them and could carry other compounds into a biological system.

In the medical field DMSO is predominantly used as a topical analgesic, a vehicle for topical application of pharmaceuticals, as an anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant.

so you can see DMSO can be used by human. your mom i think use it as an analgesic. you can use it but use it in a low quantity and were gloves when use it as it will prevent DMSO penetration in more amount in your skin. 0% 0 Votes
  • It%26#039;s actually an industrial solvent that can be tolerated by some, injurious to others. The body has a hard time of ridding itself of the chemical, and it affects the liver and kidneys.

Some people have reported migrations of the pain from one area of the body to another, sometimes making the pains and maladies more, or less, tolerable.

The problem is, that until someone actually uses the product, they have no way of knowing whether or not they can tolerate the chemical in their system.

Like Mike said above, there are supplements that work better, and the active ingredient catalyst is sulfur. Sulfur is the base root of many body lubricants and joint mechanisms, and a lack of sufficient body sulfur can cause problems, just like any other deficiency in vitamins and other minerals. 0% 0 Votes
